Davev and I had a opportunity on Saturday afternoon to photograph President Obama at the Target Center.

The lines and the wait were long but it is not everyday you get to photograph a sitting president.

Well worth it! You got a good range of expressions and gestures. The tonality, however, seems a bit off - too much of a redish glow to everything.

I agree that the WB seems to be off a bit. Too warm.

I agree. The setting was still set on Landscape mode with the presets messing things up a bit.

Ahhhhh....Since you can't make all those "modes" disappear from your camera, just vow to never, ever, use them. Use Aperture preferred, Shutter preferred, or, if you're up to it, Manual. Or, if you absolutely feel you must, use P for Programmed. But the idea is for you, not the camera manufacturer, to decide what you need under what circumstances. mwink.gif

I always shoot in manual. What happened was the the contrast and sat. were turned up on landscape setting of my 5D causing the reddish tones to pop up on the faces of the people.
