Advanced Customization editing CSS annoyance.

A minor bug, but annoying. When editing in the CSS panel. Using copy and paste always refocuses to the center of the page; forcing you to have to scroll back to where you were editing.

This seems to be fairly recent!

Can you tell us what browser and version you are using? I have not seen this before but I am seeing a lot more trouble getting Firefox to refocus correctly in general. This is not necessarily SmugMug related for me as it is happening on other sites.

I have been using IE 8, with windows XP. I have not tried this with firefox yet.
One thing I have noticed is that when I edit a theme I don't have these issues; only with the advanced cutsomization editor.

I tried Firefox v3.0.12, and could not even login to my site.

Can you try the latest version of Firefox and see if it is happening there as well? I will try IE8 and see if I see it.

I downloaded and tried the latest version of Firefox. I was able to login (once I enabled cookies) and editing in CSS worked fine.

I am not seeing it on my copy of IE so it may be a setting or something that is doing it.

Can you try adding SmugMug as a trusted site to see if that helps?

    1. Click on Internet Options in the Tools menu. The Tools menu has a gear icon on it.
    2. Click on the Security tab.
    3. Click on Trusted Sites.
    4. Click on the Sites button.
    5. Type the Web address *.smugmug.com into the textbox. and click the Add button. Also add *.quantserve.com, *.amazon.com
    6. If necessary, uncheck the Require server verification (https://) box. Unchecking this box will allow you to add sites to the zone like SmugMug that don't use the https:// protocol.
    7. Click the Close button to exit the Trusted Sites dialog box.
    8. Click OK to exit the Internet Options dialog box.

Then close IE and restart it to see if that helps.
