took a trip to Cannon Beach yesterday, the weather was disappointing - hazy and cloudy, even though the forecast was for clear skies - but i did manage a couple of shots i sorta like. taken with 5D and Tamron SP24-135, various settings...

looking north from Ecola Point toward Indian Beach...

here's the view south toward Cannon Beach... the mist and low clouds made for pretty poor conditions, but gave some shots a nice, moody feel...

    Rocky,

I really like the second shot. A lot of mood there.

Man, I wish we had that kind of scenery here.

Both are really nice Rocky, but I too like the second one a lot!! I would have loved to have been there!! I hope you send this one to Rick as it is such a Oregon Coast scene.

I really love both of these shots...From what I have seen of that side of the country the coastal landscapes look simply amazing !!

Great job framing in the people on the 2nd one. Really gives a nice sense of scale..

    Cheers

    Both are nice shots.

My preference is the first, but only just, on account of the colours and composition.

    I prefer the second also.
Did you use a filter to keep the sky from blowing out?
    Cheers,
    Marc.

no danger of that... the fog and clouds were quite dark. :D
