I live in New Orleans so naturally I have a lot of Mardis Gras pics. MG is the ultimate people watching experience. Unfortunately I haven't had a good camera till now. These were taken with a Kodak P&S but I like them.

    Hi Bouette,

    Out of these shots, I prefer #1. #2 is a bit too soft for me, and so is #3, bit it looks like there is something else going on as well? a big crop? I'm not sure, but I don't think the effect adds to the photos. I actually quite like the expression on the last one, but isn't Mardi Gras suppposed to be a happy occasion? #1 seems very 'Mardi Gras' to me; Colorful, happy, beady, smiley! wings.gif

    Number 3 is a very tight crop with a couple of filters applied. I like the effect.
