I did walk in the water.

I was cold at first but then it was very nice. I need to go back and do some more shooting along this area. Once the sun comes up it is pretty tough with the broken light.

So this is in the desert somewhere?

I prefer the composition of the first shot but I think it could use a little more contrast and highlight recovery in some of the brighter areas. Overall, it's not too bad, though.
