First time I posted anything in a while. If no one knows a Hokie, it's Virginia Tech. :rofl Apparantly I am a double rival, if I am not mistaken. I went to Rutgers U and presently work at Princeton U.

Anyway enjoy.

I actually really like the filmstrip ideas here!

The images looks a little dark to me, but it might just be the monitor I'm on.

That last one is great - really nice job with the DOF there.

Oh yeah, and I had no idea what a Hokie... Hokey?... was, so thanks for clearing that up :)

Awesome film strip! I think most of the images don't look dark to me... maybe the very first set could be a little brighter because they're wearing dark clothing. The first 3 of the filmstrip look just a taaad darker than the last 3 of the filmstrip. btw, i'm loving your watermark too, it's so tasteful!

We had a break in the clouds that had some sun. The entire day was dreary and cloudy, both Doug and I were worried about the weather. But I might go back to lighten some spots.

    Thanks for comments!

Btw, thanks for the props on this watermark! I like this one a lot too! Very simple, but poignant. I once thought about using all my initials.. there are five in total! haha! But TN works.

Nice set as usual, I have to agree though that most of the photos are a bit dark...but that tends to just be the way you process photos. If you don't realize that the majority of your photos are dark though, might be time to calibrate the monitor. If you're doing it on purpose though, nevermind :) The last one doesn't look dark to me at all though, that being said.

I also really like your film strip layouts, they really work. I think I may do a couple of those for the engagement session I shot last Sunday.

While mostly I do tend to do darker processing, it probably psychological. But I will go back through these to bump up the darker ones up a bit so they won't be too dark. Even though they already seen and love them enough to hire me to do their wedding in July. :D:D

Glad to hear my film strips are motivating you to do some of your own! The shots were unintentional, but I saw the "animation" while going through LR and got a light bulb!

    Thanks for commenting, Cat!

Cute set. Some are underexposed, IMHO, but otherwise very nice. I like the filmstrips.

I am liking the film strips idea too, especially the vertical.

Very nicely done. The first set does seem to be a little dark. Was it your intend to have the fourth one with a yellowish tint?

    Yep it was intentional. :)

I did an external link of the vertical on XL I think... I wish it were bigger cause its print size is pretty immense. ha!
