Capitol Reef Orchard

Got this quick shot last weekend in Capitol Reef. I loved how green it was against the overcast sky. I hit the trees with a flash to try to make them pop. It appeared to work compared to the unflashed one.

    This is in Utah, near the area where everything is dry and red? eek7.gif

    I like the lighting that you did, since you've brought out the greens nicely, but left some drama in the sky thumb.gif

    This is the area where everything is dry and red. In the canyons there is a lot of green. Cottonwoods and grasses. The early settlers planted orchards here along the small river. It is an awsome area. Lots of green in this part of the state. Right along with the red cliffs. Here is another from the same area.
    Just your average redrock shot. This one was really that pink. It might have been the light. Or maybe that is really how it looks. But the color was odd.
