Crazy Harry, the Crab King...
This is probably a justifiable cross post between nature and people, but I'll see if the nature crowed enjoys it as much as I did chatting with the Crab King.
Now there is this pier that sticks out into the Hudson a mile or so north of the Indian Point Nuclear Generating Station where people catch blue crabs in summer. Harry (although even now, after chatting with him for 1/2 an hour I'm not sure of his name - apologies to our Harry) was bemoaning the fact that September 11th took away the funds that were going to be used to extend his beloved crabbing pier further into the river. Anyway, here's a couple of blue crabs and Harry, the Crab King....
Regards...Keith
First, the star actor - the Blue Crab...
Next, Harry shows off a keeper...
However, that's not sufficient, so Harry shows me how a crab will balance on his head...
And of course, Harry just had to show me the proper way to eat them as well...(But don't you cook them, I asked???)
ah, well, soon it will be dinnertime...
Hope you enjoyed....

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
Feelin' a bit crabby there Harry?
Nice series btw Keith!
