Hello all,
This was my final session of second-shooting for our own Mishka. She has inspired me with her work, given me a lot of advice, and pushed me to be more creative. A special thanks to her and to all of you who have spent so much time answering my silly questions. As always c&c welcome. --Lisa

really - nice strong work.
you presented many good grabs.
nice pp and compositions for the most part.
what works very well is the consistancy of the set. nice.
a couple of nit picks:
#3 has a halo around her - just check the pp - maybe in down sizing to web.
also watch the skin tones - a little orange.
Same as #2 - skin tones
#9 is nice - next time try moving out of center.
#10 has focus point on bushes in front of couple. the shot works but if you where going for
a narrow DOF - watch the focus points.
general comments:
nice detail shots: #1, 2, 4, and 5
12-14 are sweet - very nicely done. use for portfolio.
reception: very nice flash work - good capture of moments.
What a pleasure to view this set.
Later,
Mark
# 9, 11 & 12 do it for me, just beautiful
Overall a lovely set. It seems like you did a great job of capturing the fun and elegance of the day.
Looks like you're ready to strike out on your own!
Spread the love! Go comment on something!
Are those ballet shoes? You are getting really good, Lisa!
Not much of an issue, but I am not feeling the watermark.

Thanks, friends for taking time to give me feedback and help me to get better. I hope I do continue to get better:). I liked how you all had diff favorites this time.
Watermark: Yeah I just threw that up there. At a recent wedding someone asked about getting wedding prints from the night on-line. I said sure-- they are reasonably priced. As I turned to walk away they mentioned something about knowing how to get around right-click protection. I thouggt it might be a good idea to create a watermark so I did this. Any ideas? I would like it to deter copying, but not disrupt my images too much. I noticed in Fred Miranda they do a little signiture in the corner-- but they have a diff clientel. Maybe I shouldn't worry about it and just do my little weblink in the corner.
I was very fortunate with the abundance of light and couple that was into the shoot. As for light-- there was a videographer and I was second shooting (so the prim with her 2 flashes), plus the white ceiling-- I think it gave the shots brightness and depth. The couple had chosen a beautiful spot to stop at between the wedding and reception and alloted for enough time-- also they both wanted to get great pics. I think that those two, plus my aperature choice really helped me out.
I do need to WB some of these, I liked the rich gold tones, but you are right, her skin is orangish in some. I'll try the LR WB dropper. As for exposing in 5 I think I exposed for the glass.
Thanks for all of your feedback and kind words, I appreciate you all very much!
