Type of Heron? ID needed

I was recently on a Motorcycle trip down the Blue Ridge Parkway and captured this little guy at Natural Bridge, VA

Thanks Ray...I thought it was from seeing the one in another active thread but the colors weren't as vivid.

Yes indeed, it is a Green Heron. I think the dull color is due to the harsh lighting conditions you had at the time.
