I just have to rave.

Since my beginning, I've come up the ranks in cameras. I didn't believe that "full frame" cameras were worth their value, beside what could be so different about them...right?

Wrong.

The difference is amazing. I picked up the 5D2 almost a month ago. It's amazing. The pictures are like nothing i've seen before from me. Good glass helps of course, I'm using the 70-200 f2.8 IS for all the ones below. C&C is Always welcomed!:lust

    HAHA!

I just realized this may be a funny spot to share the photos that I just did! I consider the weddings forum my home here on dgrin and wanted to share here, mostly because of the benefit of the full frame, which I think, now that I've used both, is essential to wedding photography!:D

Beautiful pictures! Love the horse ones especially :) Is that an andalusian or a fresian in the last picture?

#3 is adorable... even without the wedding gown!

Yeah, I know exactly what you mean about the full frame. It is glory! Every time I pickup my backup non-full-frame I sort of cringe...

    Thank you!
The last one is actually their Senior Percheron Stallion. He's old, although appears in beautiful shape, has really bad arthritis, and won't be around much longer.:cry
Actually, all the horses pictured are Percherons!

    Thank you for the compliment!

the day I switched my D80 to D700 was... absolutely life changing (although changing all my glass over remains painful). YAY for full frame!

Well you captured him beautifully. The black coat and curly mane threw me a bit from being a Percheron.
