Entrance to cemetery shot in the small town of Micanopy just south of Gainesville, FL (go Gators!) on Sunday. Opted for a heavy vignette as the Spanish moss was already leading me in that direction....

C&C appreciated! :D

Well, I would say that nothing dead jumped out at me right away, so the title isn't immediately explained.

However, i immediatley thought of the south when I saw this photo. Perhaps due to the moss or something. I think its actually very nice. Good shot. Good treatment too.thumb.gif

    Nice image.
I believe that is a headstone at the center of the image, right?

Do you have CS3 or 4 or LR? If so, you might bump the exposure around the stone a bit to make it pop just a tad.

That might work. I did see the stone way back there, but I found Waldo first.:D

I only have GIMP... 'cause it's free :D I will work on adding some contrast to the headstone.

    Thanks for looking!

I like your picture. I find the little town of Micanopy a wondeful place to wander around with a camera in my hand. There are so many opportunities to record a quaint scene of a real photogenic Southern haven....as you might imagine since the town was featured in two hollywood films.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

Nice take... the vignette looks great to me for this shot.

Personally I think the PP lacks in color pop. As is it looks kinda
dead pan for what it could be. I just hit this with a fair amount
of hue saturation only and good things started happening.
    At least IMHO. :D
