I'd like #1 better if it was brighter, although I'm not sure if that was an artistic decision on your part or not. ne_nau.gif

    Fair enough.

Keep in mind when you photograph something that is very light (like a page or a sheep) your camera's meter tries to make it a medium gray. The solution is to dial in positive exposure in your camera to make the item the appropriate brightness. The reverse is also true for very dark items. If this is old news to you I apologize. ne_nau.gif

15524779-Ti.gif Nice advice for sure. Repairs can be made in PP that may be
    satisfactory for adjusting exposure errors.
Like your composition in image #1 though I feel cross totally in focus would better suit things.
Still there is a certain artistic value as is with OOF as you have it set.

Very simple, but stating a strong message :D

I like your compostiton in both photos, but I would of liked to of seen the cross in the second focused in on the top of the cross. Looks like the focus was on the bottom end of it.

    Keep shooting and posting thumb.gif

#1 needs a bit more light, but I really like the depth of field. Both images tell a story. Good job and thanks for sharing!
