So this last wedding we started shooting 2 hours late, the brides sister was 2 hours late...nice...they didn't want to start without her.
The bride Ranee is such a sweetheart never complained once during the day no matter what was thrown at her and trust me it was a lot...
She is a beautiful young lady inside and out! Shawn had a great day as well, no matter what happened he just kept smiling, of course with a beautiful young bride like Ranee...
Some of you may remember this is the same couple that I had an awesome outdoor engagement shoot out in the rocks in the desert and on the farm, then I had to reshoot some of them. I was kind of worried about the wedding but other than a bunch of family drama everything went really well I am glad to report.
Anyway here is the gallery if anyone is interested, it is a lot of pictures so I organized it so if you look at just the first 20 or so you will get a good idea of the day.

Much more urban setting than your usual, much more urban than their engagement location. You really did well using the angles and geometry of the city stuff. I think you might have missed some opportunity to do some more candid "street style" stuff, maybe in your rush to get everything in after the late start. I like that a lot of this has more natural processing than some of your color work. So which do you prefer? Country or City?

    Thanks everyone.
Yes the cake is John Deere green, this is a farming family. Yes I think that was the grooms cake.
No I don't get a chance to do much urban photography but I really like it, I prefer city.
I had exactly 10 minutes of time where I could have the couple do whatever I wanted, not much.
We shot the arch shots, the up against the wall shots and the walking with him carrying her shots in that 10 minutes.
As for the processing some settings lend themselves to more vivid processing this one really didn't. I seem to find myself shooting more and more in black and white, I love it.

You set your camera to black and white? Really? Maybe I am reading that wrong. I love black and whites too, but really want control over the conversion.

Lovely stuff Zoomer! I took a gander at the first page in the gallery and you really made some nice photos. Looks like you (and more importantly, the bride) handled the lateness with style. Nicely done!

    Thanks Heather,
No I don't actually set the camera to black and white, I like to play with the conversions as well.
Since lateness seems to be the new on time, I am getting pretty used to it .
