My Slideshows Are Dying

I have discovered that slideshow has stopped working in some newly created galleries, and that if I make a change to an older gallery slideshow gets killed there as a result. Typically, when I click on the slideshow button the "Press Esc to exit..." message appears briefly followed by the first photo in the gallery, but no film strip, no controls, and it just hangs there. Hitting Esc takes me back to the gallery. Same results in both FF and Safari. Not sure if this is a system-wide bug or unique to my site.
My site is PW protected, but if the Smug Gods can look behind the scenes I would appreciate it. Here's a recently created gallery:

The second gallery in this sub-category is now afflicted after making a change. The third gallery still works OK.
Thanks, Ian

Hi John, yes I appreciate that. As I understand it the corporate folks can access it and that's what I'm asking for.

Thanks John, I had forgotten about the help desk. Have sent them an email. Ian
With the help of the Smug Heros I eventually traced the problem to my Adobe Flash Player plug-in.
Apple Security Update 2009-005 addressed multiple issues in the Adobe Flash Player plug-in. For Mac OS 10.5.8 it included an update to Flash version 10.0.32.18, but for Mac OS 10.4.11 (which I still use) it only updated to Flash version 9.0.246.0.

Based on my experience, Slideshow will not run properly in this older version.
I downloaded 10.0.32.18 from http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ and the problem appears solved. Tested in both Safari 4.0.3 and Firefox 3.0.14.
Hope this will help any other stick-in-the-muds running OS 10.4.11.
