Since I just bought it, I figured my second post on this site may as well be productive :)

I bought mine @ Adorama and love it. If you're looking for a cheap way to get the ringlight look (without building a $25 styrofoam version like my first one), this is what you're looking for.

I'll let the example shots speak for themselves. I haven't shot any macro with it yet but I'll get to it :)

    I've been looking at those adapters myself. It seems both useful and a lot of fun.

    If I hadn't tried so hard to make my own, I wouldn't have bought this. I know it's half the price of the Alien Bee's Ringlight but I wanted something a little more portable :)
