Rainy Day Loon

I got this shot of a loon on Frenchman Bay last August on a very rainy day. Personaly I like the shot but I am not sure if it works the way i think it does. I was trying to catch how some days are better than others to be a seabird your comments are appreciated thaks for looking.

Loons are one of my favorite birds. You can see one on my website if you like.

This is a super catch and I like the mood with the rain and the boat in the background but:

1. get him out of the center
2. It would help if we could see his eye (you can clone one in with a dot)

Thanks for responding and the hints, I think one of my main reservations was not being able to see the eye. I guess I need to learn more about some of the more advanced aspects of photoshop.

That thing in the BG is knotaloon!

I think you meant paint in a dot, Dan.

Since you have the boat, loon and high shoreline having the loon somewhat centered is okay. If the loon is what you are trying to emphasize, then I go with Dan on the centering being a no-no.
