So this is kind of cool, you can't (obviously) get HDR shots of something moving with an iPhone. I snapped this then ran it through PS Mobile, increasing and decreasing exposures then merged them in HDR Library Mode. If nothing else, this sure if fun to mess around with!!
"Genetics load the gun, lifestyle pulls the trigger"
I bought and played with TiltShift Video today. This shot from our offices on the 9th floor of the CNN building in Hollywood, looking down on Cahuenga Blvd.
i recently got the photokeys app, which allows you to control photoshop tools and such right from your phone on your computer. filter calc app, lets you calculate ND filters, and the phototomac app, allows you to transfer photos from your iphone to your computer through wifi.
i will have to take a look at these apps you all mentioned. especially the HDR ones and the pano app.
*** iPhone Pics Only Thread ***
I think the title pretty much sums it up. I think there should be one since the iphone is really good for just quick shots without breaking out a beast of a camera. What thinks you? I've looked through a BUNCH of other iPhone shots around here but didn't see a thread dedicated to 'em.
THIS is that thread.
(mind if I start? I just got hipstomatic a couple days ago!)

Turns out we already had such a thread! I merged 'em.
I just got an iPhone 4 and can't figure out how to down load photos to my computer or to my smugmug account. HELP!
Yeah, Apple didn't make it easy, did they? Well, actually, it IS easy, it's just not OBVIOUS, and it took me a while to figure it out, too.
There are a couple of ways to get pics off your iPhone and onto your computer. The first, obviously, is to email them to yourself. But that's clunky and time-consuming.
The second method is dirt-simple. Connect the iPhone to your PC via the included USB charging cable (just unplug the USB from the little cube adapter that plugs into the wall outlet). When you connect, the iPhone will appear in Windows Explorer as a removable storage device, just like a flash drive or a digital camera. You will ONLY be able to see your photos this way, not your apps or data or anything else. But that makes it simple to copy the pics off the phone onto your computer. Once on your computer, the pics are JPG files that can be manipulated the same as any pic from your digital camera - post process, rename, print, upload to SmugMug, whatever.
For everything other than pics, you connect the phone to your computer the same way, but to access your apps and data and music, you must use iTunes.

Love hanving this around
Ok, so even though I have a decent camera, I still find myself shooting with my iPhone quite a bit. Here are a couple I like from the last while.

I sure like your example.
Which pano app do you use? I see a bunch of them in the App Store.
It's simply called "Pano" but it's by Debacle Software (2008)
Hope that helps-

This is a strange one...but fun.
I have plenty more, but those two are my favorites.
I may not know what I'm doing, but I'm having fun doing it!
