    My first tries...
    A lot of great work here. Inspired me to add two of my own...

    Sort of condensing my comments from the competition thus far. Lots of really amazing stuff:

    Page1:
    sdgphoto: "Barefoot" Simple and wonderful. Really well done!
    kds1: Love the b/w shell!

    Page 2:
    Davev: Love that wipeout on the water sled!!!
    dseidman: Nothing says summer like the public fountain. Really love the image
    Kinkajou: Jumping: Really love this one, captures a lot of what summer is about

    Page 3:
    JC3d and Linda, the colors in both of your sets are so amazing!
    Lizard_nyc: Love that shot of your daughter and friend walking and talking!!!
    Aaron: Great staturation on the street shot and though I don't like soda, Coke==Summer.
    OhEddie: Love the dune jumping shot. Brings back memories of living on the southern tip of Lake Michigan.

    Page 4:
    Gitzlaff: love the jump into the water. Very summertime.
    Brieyasmom: not a huge fan of the selective color, but the popsicle shot is 100% summertime.

    Whoo hoo! Thanks, Andrew! :) Your underwater shot is just great - I love that one.

    Just updated my entry - cleaned up "jumping" and added the "Annual Fourth of July Mullet Chuck Contest - Men's Category" in place of the "Lazy Sunday in Micanopy" shot.

    Nothing says summer like chuckin' a fish. :D

    Not sure chucking mullets says summer in my neck of the woods, but ok....

    Those shots are from Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore in the Northwestern part of the Lower Peninsula.
