gallery question

I have a question about the galleries and how to move photo's out of and into new places that I have for them. I have a gallery called recent that I load all the new photo's that I upload from my day, and now that they have been in that gallery for a while I want to put them in there place. I want a Utah gallery and then sub galleries to place say like Canyonlands or Arches or you get the idea I have see others do it I know that it can be done, also I'd like to make a feature gallery now so that you can see that I have a deeper selection.
any help would be gratefully accepted

In the gallery Tools menu is an a Move Photo option that allows you to select one or more photos and move them to a specific gallery without re-uploading.
