Greeting the morning on a mountain lake . . .

It was very early in the morning . . . quietly moving along the shoreline. It's cool, but knowing the warmth of the sun will soon arrive, makes getting up early for a photo shoot, worth the early rise . . .

Very nice shot with a perfectly handled exposure. The color in that fog looks great.

I think you should crop the sky off the top (just to the top of the highest tree), as I don't think it's adding anything to the image. Other than that, excellent work here.

I love backlit fog scenes - and this photo is no exception. Nice work!

    Thanks Danny

Tried cropping just the top, but perhaps should be cropping the bottom as well to balance it out . . . hmmm. Peter :-)

Thanks Eia. It was quite the feeling at that moment. Off in the woods I could hear coyotes yelping and just behind me an eagle was getting ready to dive for a trout (guess I should have had my camera pointing that way). Peter

Thanks Ron. There is one fog scene I'm still trying to catch. That is early in the morning when fish are jumping in the fog. When they do, the spray of the water sparkles from the sunlight. Maybe next year . . . . Peter
