Automotive HDR

Let me just first say that I know everyone has their own opinion on HDR, but they usually fall into the "How dare you use it! I hate it!" category or "For the love of god--please don't overdo it" but with what I like to shoot, it has produced wonderful results.
Two days ago a missed a great chance at sunset and I told myself not to let that happen the next day. So this time I was ready but I didn't look west, but east instead:
I didn't have the time to move my car more than once, which is why most are in a similar pose in just different angles, but I am happy with the results. I watched the color drain from the clouds in mere seconds once the sun finally slid down completely. Very surprised how fast it went from this color to dark blue/gray.
And also, just because everyone fears HDR done with a heavy editing hand...
Don't fear HDR! :P
Two more from winter:
Enjoy!

Remember though...it really doesn't matter what others think of HDR, what matters is that you or the client likes them!

Agree. Good shots; only a couple of them look kinda like HDRs. They "just" look like well-composed, well-exposed photographs. Four stars.

Thanks a lot, folks!
Appreciate the comments!

woody...some consider the "overdone and cartoonish" to be "good", so to state that the only "good" HDR's must be according to your specifications is rather limiting and could be considered arrogant. I am not trying to be harsh, but I have seen this type of response many times when there really is no justification or rulebook that states what makes a "good" HDR image, only each individuals tastes/biases/worldviews/phase of the moon that sways our likes and dislikes...not someone telling everyone else how things "should be done". Good is a subjective term.
btw...I strive for the natural HDR or true toned, but I have also seen some awesome over-the-top surreal HDR's as well. I think there is plenty of room for all types of HDR...IMHO.:D
