Well, this doesn't belong here, and someone will probably move it. But to show you that I don't always shoot people, and always shoot in black and white, I thought I'd post this...

...and send you to the new Steel Ghosts gallery at my website, where I've posted eighteen images shot at the now-demolished Bethlehem Steel works, in Bethlehem, PA. C&C always welcome. :D

A bygone era. I grew up in Pittsburgh, and there is only one steel mill left along the Mon. River. They've all been long since razed and replaced by other industrial parks.

That someone being me. mwink.gif Yep, moved to Other Cool Shots.

I love this shot. Industrial foliage. The gallery is great--I especially like the shots of the lights and their cables. Beautiful work, BD. clap.gifclapclap.gif

    Nice job; I took a look at the gallery - great stuff! (especially #3, 8, 14, 15, 16 & 18)

…the genre has become so associated with B&W that it's refreshing to see it done well in colour…

Thanks, Wil - The funny thing about this is that I originally had all the images converted to black and white. And then two years later I went back and looked at the original files and said...'What the hell was I thinking?!' Yet again a reminder to never delete, and always shoot RAW. rolleyes1.gif
