New Toy- Tamron 70-200mm f2.8

Here is a picture today I was just messing around with my new Tamron 70-200mm f2.8 lens and new Canon Flash 580EX II. I already have a 580EX but decided I needed a second flash for my other Canon XSi since I have 2 of everything. But anyways, this picture is of my nephew and is untouched of any editing software. I am amazed of the clarity, color, and contrast of this picture. Even his eyes are AWESOME. Love the Bokeh too! WOW, what do you think?

I have the Canon model of this same lens and love it!! Nice pictures!! Would you mind sharing what camera and flash settings you were using for this shot? I haven't even yet used a flash with this lens (I'm a bit remiss with using a flash). Thank you.

Beautiful! I'm a huge fan of the Tamron 17-50, so nice to see their long lens is performing well, too - really nice on these. How's the AF speed?

So far it has been great. I get to test it more on Saturday at a wedding. The settings I used were

Manual Exposure
Shutter speed 200
ISO 400
F2.8
Focal length 70mm
Flash ETTL (through the lens)

I have no clue about flash. How do I do that and what is the difference? , sorry... I haven't read up on it

Sorry, I forgot that you use Canon. I am not sure if Canon has that.
