Challenge 42, anything goes. So I can pop the poppies.
The book i was working on is finished, waiting on the plotters right now.
It is like coming back home to enter a challenge again. I have been out of the running for six months. Seas of free time are showing up on my horizon.
Anyway, it feels good to be back and this is my entry for challenge 42

I have been hanging out on DPreview lately, but miss the good atmosphere we have here. It was more then time that I could come back...
Trying to catch up a bit.

Thanks Douglas... I was the one lying on the side of the road to be able to get down to snap them against the sky. A person came over and asked if I was OK... Yes maam, just snapping poppies. That was the moment that her eyes went to infinity...

Hey Cat...welcome back. I have been gone for a while too...busy traveling and whatnot.... I was just checking out some recent phosts, since I know I won't be able to catch up on everything I missed...and I saw your poppy post. Very cool shot. Did you take that in California? I live near the California Poppy Reserve, but I haven't been there in a few months...so not sure if they're still blooming.

No, I took it in UK... I will have my first visit to California in october of this year. I have never been there. I had no knowledge of a poppy reservation.
sounds like a place that I need to see...
I think I will stay in san Jose. (Friends are taking me there, I have no idea where I will end up)

Cool. Well, the Poppy reserve is quite a bit south of San Jose. It's in the Antelope Valley about 80 miles North of Los Angeles.
