I managed to get out today for an hour or so specifically to get something for this challenge at a local working watermill.

What do people think?

#1 Lift-off (current favourite)

Now from the mill

#2 Water power No 1

#3 Water power No 2

#4 Wheels in motion

#5 The transfer of power

As always I am grateful for any feedback.

Of the watermill, I like #4 best. I like the closer composition better than #3. And I like the unobstructed view of the wheels better than 1 & 2.

I am not sure yet whether I like the watermill better than Lift Off.

I like #4 as well. Nice comp. I think I like it better than lift-off because of the fact that the sky in lift-off is a little harsh.

Wow tough choice, I am biased towards machinery so it get my attention more than the action shot. 5 is my favorite, must be exposure that draws me to it. All shots show movement well.

I mistakenly said I liked #4 of the watermill. What I meant to say is that I like the 4th one best, which is numbered 5. Oops! ne_nau.gif

As much as I like the mill shots, I'm still partial to the water skier. :D
