I'm basically a people person. (Don't like to take photographs unless my subject talks back to me.) I've a doctor friend who is wildly into Ducks Unlimited and wants to know what is a good lens for that type of photography. Duck blind and long range sighting. Any help is appreciated.

try taking a picture of a tern, they talk back or a bear but they do not talk as much --ok back to the ?

if he has $$ the best tripod he can buy a wimberly head and a 500mm then add a 1.4 tc to the bag and away you go . I am not sure what you mean by long range sightings you do need to be at the same pond mwink.gif
