Had an opportunity to photograph a stunning young lady named Melisha on Sunday. All are natural light + reflector. Here are a few from that session. This is my second model shoot, so still learning.

C&C encouraged!

i realize the reflections in the sunglasses is a bit too revealing, but I otherwise love this shot

Why does this lovely young lady keep toppling over to her right? Does she have some sort of condition? rolleyes1.gif

haha BD. I actually thought of you when I was shooting these. I know you're a horizon-must-be-level kind of guy. Is there no room in this crowded world of photography for looking at things from a different angle? In my travel and landscape photography, I'm a stickler for a level horizon too...so i guess i'm getting a bit carried away with something different for me.

    4, 5 and 6 are glorious.

I have to say, I'm a tilt-happy kinda gal myself, and the tilts in these are just a little too extreme for my taste. Did you do them in post or in camera? If the latter... perhaps just a tiny bit less? :D

I think your lighting looks best on #7. #6 has a funky shadow that makes the lit side of her face look swollen to me.

    Chris,
nice shooting! I like #7 the most, it's where your active tilt kinda plays the best...thumb.gif

I'm guessing #7 is actually shot flat on the ground from above, so not tilted at all. rolleyes1.gif

I LOVE shot #2, tilt and all. What a gorgeous model you have there. iloveyou.gif

    in the end
the best shots are the ones that make the model look best -- I like 1 and 7. I don't mind the tilt a couple of times in a series as long as it doesn't make it difficult to process the pic in my mind. I think it looks nice here.

    Thanks everyone!

diva - these were tilted in camera...i actually tried to reduce the tilt on a few in post, but then cropping issues started coming into play.

Nik's correct. It's a wall. ;) Thanks for the participation Nik, was hoping for your feedback.

jdog - in #2, i think I was actually pretty level with the camera, she just tilted herself! lol

note: we put the sunglasses on because the light coming off the big sunbounce reflector was blinding her to tears. Not to mention, it was about 95 degrees F outside.

ok, so here are a few more that put us squarely on level ground! :D

I would crop out just a little bit of the flowers in #8, but otherwise, I think it's the best capture of the whole group!
