Here are a few from a session I did yesterday. C&C always welcome. I'm hoping to post a few to Go Figure later.

Number 3 is my favorite followed by number 7. The backgrounds in most of these I find distracting. I do like the colors though.

In number one, her eyes look a little too sleepy and the background is too busy. Number 2 she looks good, background ditto. Number 3 feels good and the background is minimal.

The clothing the woman in the remainder of the shots is wearing is not very flattering. Nor is the reflection of her position in the mirror. Number 6 has decent color, but the tan wall and lighting is distracting at the left of the frame. And her expression is odd. Number 7 would be better if her eyes faced the camera just a bit more. The creases on her dress are problematic too.

I like the 3rd one! The lighting is nice. Not overdone but I also find the background distracting except on the last 2 where it all seems to blend :D They should be happy!

    #5 is not showing

The background in the first few is really too distracting for me, even in #3.

#6 is my favorite - best position, background, expression, exposure... very well done.

I agree with most of the others; #3 and #7 do it for me thumb.gif The lady in the first few shots seems a bit more relaxed in general than the one in the last few shots, although she seems to have gotten more relaxed in the last shot. I also agree that the bg is a bit too distracting for my taste. In general though: very nice! clap.gif

You seem to be working well with the models, with good poses and expresions. The big distraction, as others have said, is the backgrounds. You need to do something to either get them out of focus or darker than the models.

Next time I shoot with these ladies, I'll unclutter backgrounds before we shoot. I've been cloning out lamps, etc. Laughing.gif. Now that they've seen these, and feel good about how they look, I think they will be much more comfortable next time around and willing to do whatever it takes to get good shots. The first model was much more at ease.
