Very nice shots...do you mind sharing your settings. I have my fingers crossed that I am going to be on the sidelines at the UNC @ GT game on Saturday. It is a 1:00 kickoff (which I think was the same time your game started).

I have not been on the sidelines at a college game (only high school games under the very bad lighting). I have a Canon XT, with a Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 lense. I wish I had a better camera and a longer lense, unfortunatelyne_nau.gif

Good luck getting on the sidelines this weekend! It's a very fun atmosphere, don't get caught up in it to much but still have some fun, concentrate on the game, each play, what players are coming into the game ect.

Ya, my game was at 11:21 I believe, It was a overcast day with the sun peeking thru at times. I was shooting at f/4 most the time but did hit f/5.6 a few times, all shot in AV or Manual, with a MkIIN - 300L and 50D- 70-200L. I also over exposed +1 on most shots, but could have been less on a few aswell. Hope this helps some.

    Thanks for the compliments.

Lets see your photos next week.

Roll Tide! Great Shots! That would be my dream job, right behind the Sports Illustrated gig...:D

Big Bama fan here. I grew up in Demopolis. I had to watch that game on Direct TV, but my Dad and Brother were there.

Good shots my friend. Havan't seen you post in a long time. OU's coming to Lubbock this year. So, be looking for that album for sure. I also just got approved from Oklahoma State to go up there and shoot the Tech vs. OSU game. I can't wait to see that stadium up close. It looks absolutely amazing on TV. I'm finally going to be able to hit up Eskimo Joe's as well. Woo Hoo.

Thanks guys! I'm a BiG OU fan, but have a daughter that graduated from Bama and my other daughters boyfriend plays for Bama (# 67) in the photos, so I have to pull for them also! I may get to shoot the Bama Vs LSU game aswell. I am booked for the next month shooting Little league football and T&I and only have 2 days I can shoot Bama Football the Tennessee or LSU, I picked LSU.
