Smugmug maps, I am getting a little confused

Hi
I use gpicsync to geotag my pics. Many galleries have close to a hundred pics with EXIF embedded.
When I click on "Map" link, nice google maps come up and I see all the pics geotagged.
However if I select "smugmug user" from dropdown, and enter my username, I see only those pics which have Geonames Caption in IPTC. So only few pics from each gallery which have the Geonames caption show up, Pics which do not have a caption of the order of
Taken at X/Y longitude/latitude at Blah blah blah are not shown.
Am I missing something?
