    It's been a couple years since I did FW shots. It was raining here, and I told my new camera that it wasn't going outside to play tonight. :cry

    Wow, very nice! Could you post some exif data on that shot?

    The fireworks here were postponed due to weather. Hopefully they will go off tonight.

    very pretty. nice capture Dani. I too would like to know your EXIF data... I had disastrous results following the advice of f4 at 2 seconds. none of my shots turned out well.

    is this picture rotated? all the flares are moving left. headscratch.gif

    f/8 or at the most f/5.6...

    and you need at least 5-7 secs to catch the entire burst from the centre out.. maybe even 10-15 secs. Anything more than f/5.6 will usually give you haloed and fuzzy streamers and less that 5 secs and you will get partial bursts. That's my experience, anyway...

    teriffic shot. f8, 2.5 - 5 seconds worked best for me too. thanks for the nice shot!

    and yeah... it was very windy so everything was blowing to the left lol!!!!
