I love cats (I have two who currently live here with me, and many who have since passed on…); IMNSHO all cats are fascinating and most photogenic. To be honest I think the lighting in your picture is rather flat, and doesn't bring out the best in your kitty neither in the coat nor the eyes. I'd like to see your picture in colour.

The watermark doesn't help things either…

The expression on The Cat's face is great but the watermark thingy isn't helping things…

The whiskers are nice and sharp, but the eyes are a bit out-of-focus and lack that "sparkle"…

I always like looking at pics of cats!

P.S. I just noticed the vignette thingy; definitely not my thing, but hey if it floats your boat…

The watermark ruins an otherwise pedestrian shot.

Were you really concerned that someone might steal this 420x450 image?

That's probably a good policy for your personal site.
But for sharing photos here, not so much.

Speaking only for myself, I come here to enjoy great photography from others, not to see watermarks. You have some nice pics on your site and a small watermark at the bottom right isn't intrusive. However, a big watermark across the photo is a big turn-off for me, especially on a photo-sharing site.

    My two cents...
