I took some senior pics and the yearbook picture has to be a specific size (Photo size: 1 3/8" x 1 7/8",Head size: 7/8" to 15/16",300dpi) I have Photoshop Elements 6 and have no idea how to do this. Can someone let me know how to do this? Thanks in advance for the help....

Isn't there an Image->Image Size menu on Elements?
If you aspect is wrong, you can use the crop tool, specify ppi and inches there and crop to what you want.

I'm basing this suggestion on an assumption that is common between PSE and CS.

I put in the width and length and ppi but I dont think it changed the image? How do I apply this to the image? I know this is a dumb question but I rarly every resize pictures like this..

What does your window look like when you pull it up?

    IS Win.jpg

Here you would enter what you want in the Document size area are the area above updates, and just hit OK.

You might not see much difference when you are done since depending on how PSE is set up, if you are filling the screen with your image, it will still fill the screen. If you add your rulers perhaps you will see the change, then.

Also, once you change it, if you go back in, you will have the new dimensions.

When I crop at the specifications that the school requires his head barly fits in the crop. How can I reduce the entire picture so that his body, head and tie all fit but meets the requirements?
