XHTML Strict code for badges/slideshows

Is there any chance that the code generated for embedding Flash slideshows and badges can be made to validate with an XHTML Strict doctype? You'd only need to remove the EMBED tag and make a few minor tweaks to the OBJECT tag to get this to work.
