On Sunday I had a chance to take in the fine city of Philadelphia and eastern PA.

I packed in as much as possible covering Lancaster County, Bucks County and of course, the city of "brotherly love".

A wonderful series, but these two are absolutely fabulous! You couldn't have picked a better time of year to head out this way.

Which covered bridge is that? Cabin Run?

Thank you Linda and Stephanie!! I really enjoyed this part of PA.

Previously, I had only driven through this area and never stopped to "smell the roses". It is really one of the best kept secrets around!!

Wow! I saw another (or the same?) LOVE sculpture in downtown Scottsdale on a vacation there in February.

    Absolutely OUTSTANDING photography! Great work!
As a Philadelphia native, I'd have to say you did a fantastic job capturing the flavor and character of both the city and rural surroundings.

For that day/night skyline pair ... did you happen to shoot that as a time lapse?

Again, really fantastic photos. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for the kind words Techv!!

No, I just took a day time shot and came back a few hours later (notice the crop).

On my way back to the bridge the sky had a perfect blue/purple/orange color but by the time I got there all that was let was the blue. mwink.gif

Thanks Bruce. It was the oddest thing seeing a dirt path leading straight into the wall. I didn't figure it out until the bikers showed up.

I probably shot them for 20 to 30 minutes. They were an intersting group.

I lived in Haverford for two years and fell in love with the City. My favorite is the one above, as it reminds me of my Sunday drive into the City along the Schuylkill. The first thing we always saw (other than the Zoo balloon), were the twin brown buildings, which my wife playfully refers to as the "monsters". Great pictures, and even better memories!
