Found another lacewing yesterday- it was on the car but I managed to persuade it to walk onto a leaf. last shot is a 3 shot focus stacked panorama (9 shots in all).

Brian, you make it seem so effortless. Your images always show a natural appearance with a sense of "being there". You do a great justice to the subject and its surroundings.

In these images the detail from the wing elements is very telling and shows the delicate intricacies of the structure. The second shot shows us more of the insect's personality. I have to wonder what level of detail you captured in the third image. The antennae segmentation is very nice as are the mouth parts.

Nicely done.
