Hi there,

does anyone know if it's possible to get a KML feed containing a single specific image in a gallery? :dunno

It's easy to get the kml feed for the entire gallery, but I haven't been able to figure out if I can get the kml data of a single image as well... :scratch

If anyone could help me that would be great :bow

Greetings from Austria,
Bibos

    Hey Bibos,

Unfortunately not at this point, it really depends on what you are hoping to do with the file...if you just want a single image kml to manually load into Google Earth, I'd suggest editing the kml file manually to remove the photos that you don't need.

    Cheers,

    ah, that's bad :(

i was hoping to be able to add a small google maps widget showing the location of the single photo that is currently selected/showing.

so there probably is no way of doing that then, at this point in time :(

Actually there might be one thing you could try and but it might take a little bit of js hacking...using the index of the image within a gallery, you could use &start=[index]&ImageCount=1

    eg. like this...
    http://www.introversion.com.au/hack/feed.mg?Type=gallery&Data=1031195_BQojh&format=kml&start=3&ImageCount=1

whoa, thats great! thanks alot! this should do the trick :)

now I only have to come up with an idea about how to extract the current image index, especially in the page style "smugmug" with all the AJAX running....
