Gotta get my rear in gear
and get back to work. So hard after a couple days of fun shooting with JeffW. Wish I could do this forever, Oh well, here's a few more from my great 4th of July. See ya later
Great Egret BIF
Redtail BIF a little soft :wxwax, I'm workin on it
A kinda landscape I guess
This funny little fellow swam right towards me :dunno. The way he looked somehow made me want to tilt the camera to get a funny :dunno perspective

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
Like the tilted lens on the little guy too as it gives a cool perspective and gives the shot more interest.

(My story of today begs telling..............but I don't know where. I climbed almost to the top of a loooooooooooooooooooooooooong bridge, with no water. Just got home, have photos, somewhere, but don't know when they will be "done". The snowy egret, one appeared, I was shooting a BIF, realized that it was a snowy, I was excited about that. My camera shows that he was overexposed. I had my EC at normal for other bifs, and only the snowy was overexposed. I will process them anyway if they are not OOF, am tired of this snowy problem.
Also had a very good cop bring me some water, was a very nice cop.)
I really do love that shot, and the others, too.
Hi ya Harry
Glad to see ya online
I'll take the pass on the softy, we'll sharpen em up soon enough. Had the wrong focus points. Still learning all the settings, well you know

“PHOTOGRAPHY IS THE ‘JAZZ’ FOR THE EYES…”

I would maybe have changed the aspect a tiny bit so that less of the bush on the right was in the pic. The pic also feels as if it's sloping down to the left.
Carry on clicking - looks like you're getting the hang of the new camera
