Transfering domain from Smugmug

Well I have recently started working with a new photography studio and they want me to update my site to a bludomain flash site so that everyone in the studio will have a similar feel website. So my question is, since I registered my domain name, ransomphoto.com, through smugmug(godaddy) what do I have to do to keep my domain? Is there an easy way to switch it over to the new site once I get it up and running? Also will my SmugMug site just revert back to being ransomphoto.smugmug.com? Thanks!

Hi jrmyrnsm! Your domain is yours so you should be able to use it anywhere you'd like. You'll need to contact BluDomain and find out how you can transfer your domain to them. You can open a support ticket with them here: http://www.blusupport.com/, click on Contact in the navbar.

Once you transfer your domain you'll need to remove the domain name from your SmugMug Control Panel>Settings or the links to your galleries will break. You can remove this at any time but if you remove it before your domain is moved then your domain won't go to any of your sites.
