The photo is nicely done IMO (I don't shoot babies, so....).
If this is a crop you may want to back off so the tip of the hat isn't cropped, and de-drool the hotspot under his lip. Still, cute kid makes up for little imperfections

The flash could be more flattering. Hard light, straight on the axis of the lens, does not bring out all those nice baby qualities.

I agree with Halite; I like the shot, in general it's nice but the light/flash could be a little more flattering.
