Another Operation: Love Reunited session. Every once in a while you meet someone who is just .... special. Khristina is one of those. It was a real pleasure to meet her and to work with her to get this session accomplished.
This was a real interesting trial - The Army changed the Mike's return date and/or time at least 5 times in over the course of about 7 days. One time it was 0200 on a Tuesday. Then it was 1330 on a Friday. Then it was 0830 on Saturday. And on and on and on. It wasn't so bad for me - I was flexible. But poor Khristina was, I think, going out of her mind with all the changes and the delays, etc. Anyway, it happened and we got some good shots.
I e-mailed her a small sampling that night and I got a response from her the next morning - something about not expecting to wake up in the morning and start crying. It's nice when your work is appreciated.....
1. Khristina, her mother, and her daughter - "Smile for the camera!"
2. Forming up before being dismissed
3. Oh, the suspense!
4. The first kiss - ok, there are a couple or three here!
5
6.
7. Greeted by his other daughter
8. Mike and his mother
If you haven't done so before, consider offering your services to our soldiers, sailers, and marines (and their families). It doesn't (usually) take a lot of time or cost a lot and they are soooo appreciative.

Not compared to the cost and time these warriors put in. Good for you.
