Just got a 2 monolight setup for my home studio and just had to fire some shots. I also went and got an optical slave today for my sb600 so I can fire that as a hairlight now. My lovely S.O. was kind enough to model last night! C&C always wanted!!!! Let me know what I'm doing wrong!

I really like #4. Although it is a depressed look with hard light I think it works so well in b&w. Well....Actually I like them all!

sorry but the lighting is very harsh in 1,2, and 4. The shadows and the specular highlights in her hair as well over exposed skin are killing them for me. It's not entirely flattering.

3 is MUCH better with the light but the post processing is lacking. lacks POP!

#3 is the best of the 4. I concur with Qarik.

I have a need for a decent # of these smaller cards. If you have multiple cards that would be great. I am located at zip code 35243 & 35255.

Just an update on 2 of the images. They were overexposed in post and I didn't realize it until after I posted them. Here they are updated.

Looks like I need some fill light on the hair. Or perhaps just a kicker would do the trick. Will have to play next chance I get. The second one loses a bit of detail around the nose. I don't think it is that distracting though. What about you?
