Slideshow running slow

Is there a way to speed up the time between slides on my home page slide show? It's not so much a download issue, the slide show just seems to run a lot slower than before. How can I reduce the amount of time each slide is shown?

You can try the parameter:

setSpeed: 'fast',

as documented here.
