This one is simple:
  • high noon;
  • try to select a cloudless day;
  • no hiding in a shade;
  • use the sun as your hair/rim light;
  • use a reflector (or a windsdhield cover, or a white t-shirt, of a poster board, etc.) as a fill;
And get us a nice daylight portrait! :-)

    Does an hour or so before your post count as "archive"? 'cause I was out doing this very thing, today.

    Technically, it does count ne_nau.gif . You need to be aware of the assignment to do it. Otherwise it's no better than last year archive... Sorry...

    Oh, that High Noon. I thought we'd be taking pictures of cowboys having gunfights at the dusty old corral. :D

    If it's a high noon and sun is in proper position, and you can use something as a reflector (white horse?) - by all means, do the "OK Corral" version. Just remember, those 10 gallon hats cast a very deep shade, so you have to have a really nice reflector :-) mwink.gifrolleyes1.gif
