We love alpine hiking. Nothing like seeing the view from over 6,000 feet. Took this picture of our hiking companions about half way up the trail (that's the Trans Canada Hwy down below).
A lot of switch backs and very steep trails. From the base to about 7,000 feet it was about a 4 mile hike. The return trip took about 9 hours. Of course coming down hill goes much faster . . . just don't look down . . .
