Here are few shots from some recently shot volleyball matches. All shot with available light. I still find volleyball to be one of the most challenging sports to shoot.......Thanks for looking, comments welcome..........John

Nice pics. They look a lot like some of mine. Especially during tournaments when the backgrounds can get really cluttered with other teams waiting to play and the stands full of fans.
Unable to extract some or all of the Exif data.

I was looking for the exif data to see what your camera settings were. Care to share?
    Thanks

Very nice set of shots for agreeably what is a tough sport to shoot.

I am puzzled by two things:
    1. How do you narrow your shots down to eleven (on your site)
    2. In #5, how does a green uniform fit with the red and blue ones (since a libero cannot hit from the front)?

I am impressed with the quality of the shots that you are getting from your 1DMkIII.

    Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Charles; 1,2 and 3 were with a 70-200 f2.8L. The rest were with the 70-200 also or a 135 f2.0L, which I switced to part way through the night.

Thanks Rainbow, and to answer your questions.....

    1. It's totally subjective, those are the ones that I like the most.
    2. These shots are from several different games, so the hitter in #5 is in team colors and the libero was in white.
