Sports - the drama in the face
What I love the most is the facial expressions... to me, the best action shots reveal the drive and emotion of the moment.
With my 10D that is very tough... the thing is so darn attracted to any strong vertical line as a focus point, I rarely see a sharp face through a mask or helmet. It always locks onto the facemask or some helmet feature. With a desire for fast shutter I'm always pretty wide open and soft on the face.
I want to program the thin to autofocus on the focus point PLUS 2.5 inches or so!
