I watched the first episode this afternoon, a good activity for a rainy afternoon.

The only bad thing is that I suspect I'm going to end this week with a longer list of must visit parks (or must return to parks) than I had before.

I taped the earlier broadcast, and I'm watching the evening run live right now. Phenomenal.
First hour has been about Yosemite; second hour is covering Yellowstone.
I love the line attributed to Muir: "Writing is like the life of a glacier - one eternal grind."

BTW - Does anyone else think Carl Pope looks like Bill Belichick ? (More so in the show than in these images)

Acadia was featured on one I viewed a couple of days ago. I didn't expect the series to cover that park.
