Those Eyes...
From an outdoor shoot yesterday. Natural light (high noon unfortunately!) plus a 430EXII flash inside a 15" softbox. This gal was surely a charmer. C&C welcome.

I need to take #1 into PS and see if I can fix the mascara smudge. No make-up artist.

#1 is great, nice skin tone and lighting, but she's a bit too "tight lipped" (just in my opinion); I think I'd have cropped all the stuff to the left of the necklace.
#2 Fabulous! What an expression, very Gioconda . The only thing I would have done would have been to crop the bottom to get rid of the ugly armpit and her left arm (which looks kind of awkward), and perhaps slightly trimmed the right side, unless you decided to go with a square portrait format.
#3 Very pretty, but the ear-ring looks sort of weird just hanging there; also her collar bone looks strange.
#4 Great expression (almost as good as #2), but hand is intruding, and the dark shadow next to the collar bone is not helping.
#5 Doesn't do anything for me (sorry); don't like upside down, eyes look all wrong!
#1 #2 & #4 (all cropped) are definitely the keepers! (IMNSHO) - nice job!

Quarik - actually, it's not the forum password I'm talking about, it's my password protected gallery on smugmug that (i believe) prevents me from posting images at dgrin. In any case, sorry, I won't be posting those here.
In the meantime, here's another one to tide you over

…and you've got to be really careful with those skin folds & creases!
Fill The Frame! Fill The Frame! Fill The Frame!
Crop! Crop! Crop! (of course if you've framed correctly there's no need to crop )
